Season 42: Looking Forward Empty Season 42: Looking Forward

Post  Moberz Wed Apr 20, 2016 1:45 am

So with Season 41 in the books, and DangerZone 2016 down on paper, I figured this would be a good moment during the off-season to summarize some of the big events of the Pay-Per-View and what it may mean for Bloodshed, OMEGA and CiR as a whole going forward into Season 42:

If you've not seen the PPV check here: http://s3.thewrestlinggame.com/wg/prova.asp?p=show.asp?id=117

Summary:

A World Champion retains
King Edge managed to retain his CiR World Heavyweight Championship at DangerZone 2016, he managed to survive five other wrestlers including his psychopathic brother, an OMEGA upstart, an egotistical faction boss and a former World Champion. However his victory was not clean or clear, it was Rated RS who eliminated Mr. Nice Guy with a rake to the eyes and a roll up, while King Edge only managed to beat Rated RS due to a well time Moberz endorsed super kick. King Edge may have won on the night, but some may claim it was survival rather than victory. With so many challengers waiting in the wings, who'll be the next opponent for King Edge, and how will David Train, the Network Executive, react to the news that Moberz has once again influenced the title picture.

A Revolution has Arrived
OMEGA has arrived. It's official with the crowning of Titus Muttley as the new OMEGA Heavyweight Champion of the World, CiR has crowned a new champion for a new brand, and what does that mean for Carnage in Ring? Well it could mean everything, because OMEGA has a World Champion who is not tarnished like the CiR World Heavyweight Champion, someone new and fresh, ready to take on all opponents on the OMEGA Brand, with a stark contrast to the controversy surrounding the CiR World Champion could this be a big advantage in the network war between Bloodshed and OMEGA?

A Legend Annihilated
One of the biggest casualties of DangerZone was the Annihilation Champion, The Personification, who failed to defeat King and retain his Championship, and by all accounts on the night by showing respect to the OMEGA man, has walked away from Bloodshed and CiR for atleast the near future. The loss of a championship to OMEGA will not likely sit well with the Commissioner of Carnage, and the betrayal of one of his best friends, The Personification, is likely to feel as if a knife had been thrust into his heart. How will Moberz react to losing both a Championship and a Legend in one foul stroke?

Unification
Escharid walked out as the first ever unified champion in CiR History by merging together the Purity and Bloodshed Championships. Now the unified Bloodshed Champion, how will she seek to stand in the Bloodshed brand, can she be the next big threat to King Edge now she has defeated his best friend, Alex Scott, who has subsequently left the building. Or will the Bloodshed brass put one of their own in Escharid's path to stop her threatening the World Champion?

Tag Team Title Turmoil
Well it finally worked, Moberz brought The Plague to his brand to bring back Tag Team Wrestling and the CiR Tag Team Titles, what he didn't contend with was Adam Harvey doing the exact same thing with PoD. Now a Tag Team Tournament has been established and new champions will be crowned after a series of matches across the upcoming season. Which team will strike it big in the tournament, and which brand will walk away as holders of the new Tag Team Championships?

Why? Oh Why?
Steven Why defeated Jimmy James at DangerZone and saved the contract of his wife Kelly Early, but he needed help, from none other than Kaleb Konnely. Konnely has not been seen since Extreme Rewards V, but he appeared and took out Jimmy James. Why? Who hired him? What's he doing back? What will be his first move next season? Also how will Jimmy James pick himself up after this set back in his quest to get revenge on Bloodshed for costing him his contract, and will this win finally spring Steven Why back into the title hunt?

Moberz on thin ice
Many would argue, given how DangerZone ended that Moberz might well have succeeded at DangerZone, after all he helped his hand picked World Champion retain against five men out for his blood. Yet not is all as it seems. Not only was his own hand forced inside the Chamber, again risking his own position as Commissioner of Carnage, but he faced serious setbacks throughout the night. Including the loss of both Alex Scott and The Personification, his best friend. Not to mention King stealing the Annihilation Championship over to OMEGA. He also had to endure the fact that Adam Harvey managed to bring in OMEGA tag teams for the Tag Team Championship Tournament, and to make matters worse half his roster is now at war with one another, with The Order in full on faction war with The Family and also wronging the Double Down Champion Jeff Monson by attacking him backstage. Things are not looking good for the Commissioner of Carnage, will he be able to re-shuffle his pieces and return all guns blazing next season? Or will the weight of Bloodshed come crashing down on his shoulders?

Family Over Corporation
Shane Brady and his family walked out victorious against The Order at DangerZone with Shane Brady pinning Nolan Maximus to guarantee his spot in the World Heavyweight Championship Chamber, how will this major victory propel him this season? Will he go back for the Double Down Championship he unfairly lost? Will he go back for The Order who sought to have the last laugh at DangerZone, or has Shane Brady set his targets on the big gold belt itself?

Double Downed
Jeff Monson was originally set to enter both Double Down and World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chambers, however he was attacked after his early title retention by The Order on behalf of Faren Height. Faren Height sought to use the attack to get himself inside the World Championship Chamber. In doing so however, he wronged the worst man possible, Jeff Monson. Mid-way through the World Title Chamber, Faren height seemed secure in his pod with his goons guarding it, however Monson came limping from the back and eliminated Faren Height's security, are these two men on course for collision on Bloodshed?

Johnny Who?
And perhaps the most shocking moment of all. Johnny Zero returned to CiR TV, two seasons after being fired at Extreme Rewards V, where he was cost the World Championship by Moberz. Little was explained on the evening, but we know he met with David Train, what was the meeting about, is Zero back full-time? And did the actions of Moberz by attacking David Train unleash an untameble opponent?

Even with winning the title, Eschie is sad.

Not only her favorite opponent is gone, but she fells betrayed.
Moberz accused her to be unreliable, untrustable. He didn't want her to be CiR's champion, and send Woody to take her Belt of Purity.

That can only drive the PureBlood champion mad. Well, madder than she already was.

You're going to be so mad when all of Mobz's questions were rhetorical and you're feuding with me for 4 seasons.

Better get your nightgown size fitted now, before the season starts. Razz
